The heart shape was cut out from a soft slab of clay and pressed into a slight dish shape after a strawberry pattern was imprinted onto the clay

This vase was thrown on the potter’s wheel by Lindsey

These are not flaws

it was fired again in a gas kiln to create the iridescent gold effects

A striped bass was hand-painted on the mug while the clay was in a "leather hard" stage

The rainbow pattern was painted on with underglaze at the leather hard stage. It was glaze fired to over 2200 degrees. Please note: when ordering multiples, there will be some variation from piece piece as each one is individually made.
