One Tree Hill - Art Print Size:A3 Care instructions: Dampen a softThe first tree that stood on the famous hill was a pohutakawa but this was felled by a European settler in 1852. A totara was then planted and this was replaced in the 1870s by a radiata pine. Maori activists attacked this non native tree in 1994 and again in 2000.
